Hey guys, I've got an update about the 1.1 version of OEK:

Due to a pesky bug that we found in the code, we've had to slightly delay the update. However, the bug has already been fixed and we're back on track.

The silver lining, though, is that the delay gave us time to implement one of the features we were planning for the 1.2 update! When 1.1 hits shortly, you'll now be awarded a random potion for FREE after your first run of the day.

Hope you guys are looking forward to the increased control and abilities of the Epic Knight, as well as being able to toss back a free potion each day with this new feature! Stay tuned, dungeoners!

Excellent!!!!!!
Can't wait ! I was just playing now and there's one thing I'd like to see in a future update
After each run we go to the score page and when we press "Run again" it would be better if our knight immediately goes through the castle doors rather than having to touch the doors each time!
Thanks
By the way great game you have here!!!

OEK is slowly climbing up my top behind the back runner games. This update ensures that. OEK and Pitfall are getting a bit more attention from me lately, so my list is currently in this order: Agent Dash, TheEndApp, Pitfall, One Epic Knight, Axon Runners, Subway Surfers, Temple Run.

Looking forward to the update!

We're so glad you guys are excited about the update! It was designed in no small part thanks to vocal fans like you guys. We take all your feedback to heart and we truly believe that this update is going to make the game so much better in a lot of ways!

Capricorn, the reason "run again" takes you to the doors and not actually through them is so that players have a chance to equip potions or change their costumes before barreling inside. We may be able to come up with a separate way to skip this for players who know they don't want to equip anything, like double tapping on "run again" or something, but we aren't focused on it at the moment.

I've been playing this game everyday since its release and I find it to be very special. Perhaps it hit all the fun triggers in me--quick, pick-up and play, sense of humor, chicken skin, "Leeroy Jenkins!"--so I'm a little saddened by the review (3 stars, really?). Nevertheless, I highly recommend it as a great runner. Also, I've unlocked everything with ease without the need for IAPs, so now I'm focusing on besting my scores, going the distances, and achieving all I can with as many potions as I desire. Thanks for the terrific game and keep the updates flowing!

Been a while since I've seen any news, what's the status for the update? Apple just being slow?

^It would be great if we get a heads up if the devs were able to submit for review.

Yeah, I'd love to hear some news on the update. Blood Roofs is more than filling my runner needs at the moment, but I think with tweaks (especially responsiveness for the controls), this could rise towards the front of the more casual runner pack.
