App description: IMPORTANT INFORMATION
We have confirmed a bug that prevents this game from running properly on iOS 8, and are currently investigating the matter. We humbly ask for your patience and understanding until the issue is resolved.

------------------
SUPPORTED DEVICES
iPhone 4, iPhone 4s, iPhone 5, iPhone 5s, iPhone 5c, and 5th generation iPod touch (excluding 16 GB models).
iOS 4.3 or later is required.

Square Enix's fresh-faced hit The New York Times called one of the best role playing games ever designed for anything has busted onto iOS in a big way, with a slick and addictive new combat system, eye-popping HD art, and (of course) plenty of zetta awesome reasons for longtime fans to double dip.

Arm yourself with psychic superpowers and battle your way through a 7-day gauntlet of action: the Reapers Game.

THE SETUP
-------------------------------------------------
Welcome to Shibuya, a mishmash of attitudes and styles in the heart of Tokyo.

A boy named Neku wakes up in a crowded intersection, alone and unaware of how he got there. Then, he receives a weird text: Clear this mission...or face erasure. With that, Neku is thrust into a life-or-death Game that sends him scrambling down streets paved with one riddle after another...

What is the Reapers Game? Why is Neku a Player, and what is he playing for? Will the Game really end if he survives all 7 days? Another mystery is always around the corner.

THE PAYOFF
-------------------------------------------------
- Intuitive, addictive combat with a twist
Activate your combat abilities, or psychs, with simple touch commands like tapping, slashing, and dragging. Comfy with that? Control Neku and his Game partner on the same screen and take the combat up a notch. Like loot? Boost your item drops in battle with the revamped Fusion system.

- Deep replay value
Finish the main story to unlock a hilarious bonus chapter, more quests and items to find, new combat challenges, and secret reports that flesh out the story even more.

- Explore a living, breathing city
Nekus sprawling world is based on the real-life Shibuya in Tokyo. Visit real locations and absorb some real Japanese culture through a hip fantasy lens.

- Redrawn art and Retina display support
Enjoy the game in full HD on your Retina-enabled iPhone 4 or later device. Art and animation across the game has been redrawn just for this release, making combat a beautiful experience. This is how all 2D classics should look.

- The ultimate soundtrack: 60 songs
Composer Takeharu Ishimotos complete, sonically sublime soundtrack is included right in the game with high-quality audio and full vocals, including remixes and new songs.

Comparing the DS Resolution with the Retina. And yes those two small Picture on the Left are the actual Nintendo DSi Resolution. (Click the Picture to see it it in all it`s glory)

I hope that Way a few more do actually realize that you couldn`t just simple take the 60 MB Nintendo DS Build and just put it 1:1 on the Apple iDevice.

Ignorance is bliss, right? Not to mention dumb, showing it on a public forum.

Anywho... thanks for the great news. =oD
In the middle of the game now, definitely plays fine on the iPhone 5. As mentioned, the only gesture that doesn't work too well sometimes is the "scratch", and I also think maybe it's because those specific pins just take a while to activate, and you can take a beating by then. I general avoid using the scratch pins as well, and everything else works great.

Waiting until I'm done with the game, but this will likely end up high on my top five list below...

Favorite iOS games so far: Dungeon Raid, TWEWY, The Bard's Tale, Swordigo, Aralon, Horn

Showing on the PH appstore too. I wonder if there's any chance SE will put HD up on sale like they just did Lara Croft GOL. I only have SD version of this and it would be great if i could get it maybe around $10? Wishful thinking.

So, I picked this up on Christmas and am just now playing it. So far, I am liking it a lot, but not loving it.

Anyway, I have noticed that a couple of my pins that "could evolve", didn't. I.e. They reached their maximum level and have the little star beside them, but the description still says "could evolve".
Does this mean that it is a random chance thing and that I should start levelling another pin of the same type, hoping that I'd luck out and it might evolve when it maxes out? Or could something still happen to make the maxed ones evolve, after all? TIA.

You get different types of experience, some from leaving the app closed, some from battling with the pin and some from the social aspect of connecting with other people. You have to use the right type of experience to evolve it. And no there is no way to see which you need in the game. Bugged the s**t out of me if I'm honest.
