First impressions - absolutely brilliant. I've played the first 8 levels so far. The controls are simple but perfect. One button to jump/somersault, and one to hook on with your walking stick. Tested on ipad 3, and it's silky smooth. Great humour, animation and level design so far, excellent controls, 3 'worlds' with more 'coming soon' according to the map screen. The replay feature is very cool too. At 99c (or 69p here in the UK) you really don't need to think about this one.

This game is pretty damn fun to play... The controls (from what i've played so far) entail only two buttons: a jump button which makes Granny jump, but holding it makes her rotate mid-air doing 360's, 720's etc and the objective is to land on the ground upright, pretty standard stuff but the execution is well done and fun. The other button is for her cane, which she'll hold out to rail slide (hang). So you might have to jump over a house or whatever and continue your 'trick' onto a rail all the while trying to keep momentum by making 'good' landings. It's devided up into levels, 36 I think, so not an endless runner. Anyways, that's a few of my first impressions, hope they help a little.

Low bandwidth Version | Pop Up Note: Granny Smith is an perfect example of how a Game should be celebrate from A to Z. While the Game Story in which you are trying to catch an Apple Thief is as short as you could imagine it the rest of the Game seem to only follow one Rule: Make the Game as much fun as possible while trying at the same time to keep it simple but still challenging... Let`s face it - The Mediocre AB did achieve those goals and I`m still impressed therefor why Granny Smith is currently being sold on the Appstore so cheap while it could easily get sold for much more. While some might see in Granny Smith only just another Jump'n'Run Game it has some pretty sweat Feature that let it stand out of the big Mass of Games in that Genre. May it be the Build-in Replay Feature, the intuitive Control System that basically let you do every move in the Game with only two Buttons while still obtaining a variety where I catch myself over and over again in trying to see where it`s limits, the useful Upgrades that are priced so fair in the Game that the Option to obtain them through an iAP looks like it`s just there so the Folks at The Mediocre AB could add iAP to their Feature List while it`s totally not needed,...everything seem to fit perfect into the hole Picture. I`m pretty sure I have already said to much because all that I should have said would have been... Buy it, you won`t regret it!

Granny has definitely got game. This has simple controls but is quite challenging and it is very polished. I am liking it.

Haha, that thought crossed my mind quite a bit as I was playing. Wanted to post it here but thought I may come off as too cheesy.
Thanks for...yeah. XD
