A little bit of information

I saw this and purchased it.

I'm at work at the moment. I'm stealing short moments of time between phone calls. So I've not been able to play for long. Hence this is a really brief account of my first impressions.

I'd call this a platform type game based on the first few minutes of play. The controls are a mixture of arrow buttons that run along the bottom of the screen and occasionally touching the screen.

The Gophers are taking over and being generally mean. You have to guide your hamster through the levels, collecting eggs/nuts? and other items as you go. To summarize the help section: "You also have to find the last remaining hamsters in the city and help restore it to its former glory. But watch out! The Gophers have moved into town and love punishing Hamsters. The only way to earn their respect is to beat them at their own game, and create the coolest spot in town: Hamster House".

I've only played a few snatched moments and I've found it awkward to control the hamster. But I suspect practice will improve this.

Overall first impressions are an OK game. Might be a port from another platform or system. Not the best game in the world, but for 99cents (AUS$1.19) I'm willing to give it a go.

Sorry, don't know how to post links to the iTunes apps

I saw this on appshopper earlier this afternoon.

It's already in the Aussie iTunes store. Search by hamster and you'll find it.
