I was also experimenting and found out that a breeded monster can learn a move from the father, even if the father has yet to learn the move itself. Idk I have a lot of questions with this.

To breed a monster to have all its native skills, use a male and female with different move-sets. Make sure the male monster has the move that you want. For example, you can breed a native toadxin if you have a female toadxin with everything but taste and you breed it with a male toadxin with taste, it would be possible for the male to pass down taste to the offspring. Although the order of the skills might be jumbled up, the resultant move-set will be the same as a native one.

Likewise, regarding your issues about monsters learning skills that the father has yet to learn, it is totally possible. When every monster is bred or hatched, its moveset is already confirmed at the start. Therefore, your monster technically does not learn moves but is merely unlocking moves.

Hey I'm working on a new team with all new breeds and move sets.
If anyone has a mermeruch can you please tell me what move set to get via breeding. Should it have water only or a fire move or something else.
And if anyone has a forodus are the stats better then pershire?

Why all the love for Mermunch? IMO its just a water Mangrodon. I'm surprised I haven't run across anyone using a Haligarn.

Mermeruch is not simply just a water mangrodon, it's really useful and the heal can be stacked. I have a level 49 mermeruch.

uhm, question. I bred a female Walloris and a pumon to get a Female horfin, but its first move was Trick.
I tried to mate it with a male clubrute to remove trick and get a different move, but for some reason the new horfin still has Trick...i thought in breeding, the offspring inherits the father's skill, not the mothers :|

The baby will have exactly the same moves as its mother. Followed by whatever skills the father taught it.
