I guess I'm the only person who DL'ed this, however, it's a bit of a blast from the (indie) past.

Around 2004, Stardock came out with a casual politics sim which featured the candidates in that election.

This game (though not as polished, and missing some features) is either a copy of that game or produced by the same devs. Just felt like mentioning this in case anyone else here played that game, as it features the same basic mechanics and had no IAPs or adverts.
