Mars Quest - a C64 remake

Hi everyone, this is my first app. I've worked on this game in my free time, since December 2011, and have learned an enormous lot along the way.

Big chance that when you are reading this you grew up in the eighties, which means you are probably familiar with the 8-bit platforms of those times such as the wonderful Commodore 64 which started my computing career. Mars Quest is a remake of the very first game I ever played, which was called "Snoopy" on the C64. To avoid copyright infringement I changed the famous dog into an astronaut, and added a Mars theme.

The game is free, please check the post below for all details.

I'm very curious to hear what you think of Mars Quest. I would love to hear any constructive critism or new ideas and suggestions!

Thanks for reading!

---- Edit: removed screenshots, thanks Royce for embedding the appinfo, I didn't know I could do that

Thanks for checking it out, I'm glad you like it!

I see you are from the Philippines, I was researching the background of the Snoopy game and found that the game was released with a different name outside of Europe: "Johnny". I assume because of trademark reasons.

Anyway here's a Youtube video of the original:

Buttons by default. "Tilt and tap" and something called "arcade" are also in the options.

The game is free to download, ad supported, with IAP for permanent extra lives and/or ad removal.
