There is also the machine gun which simply requires a touch anywhere on screen to fire (classic shoot-em-up style). That is easier to use on the iPad. Oh and it's relative touch, with sensitivity settings in the options menu. |

This is especially nice for allowing play by people with different finger sizes and strengths! I wish more games offered this option.

So I'll be able to rock this baby on my new 16:9 screen when my iphone5 comes? That's a blessing!

Unassuming little shmup, quite interesting in its own way. Probably starts off a little slow for some, but considering the one-shot-death mechanic (sans upgrade) appears to have its own measured pace.
Change of weapon appears to drastically affect gameplay type. Personally I enjoyed it a lot more after unlocking the machine gun, particularly on the iPad. (Though must lament the lack of autofire which would then allow the ship to be controlled by a finger placed anywhere on-screen.) IAP is present, though the store appears to be down at the moment. In-game rewards appeared to be reasonably balanced up to the point I played. No immediate regrets about picking this up and I look forward to spending a little more time with it. |
