I guess the argument could be made there. But I still think the Sonic owns on non-Nintendo platforms (the original games, Sonic 4 and Generations -- not the completely 3D ones).

Anyway, might have to give this one a whirl.

2 quick questions before hitting the buy button:
-----------------------------------------------------

1: endless runner style or a real platformer with virtual joystick??
2: Game Center achievements??

I was wondering the same thing about whether it's an endless runner without seeing a video. It would truly suck if this wasn't a platformer.

A little bit of both actually, there's a number of level but you don't have a joystick. Instead you control rayman by tapping, making him jump, fly and punch. This gets a bit more complicated when you can backtrack and find secret lums later on. You really need to do those levels multiple times to unlock the secret levels and have a 100% completion ratio ^^

Slide To Play's preview says, "Thankfully, Rayman Jungle Run is not another Temple Run knock-off, like we were expecting at first. The goal is to reach the end of each level without dying, instead of running forever and racking up a high score." And "...it's not an endless auto-runner-- the levels are small, beautiful, and designed to be replayed over and over again until they're mastered."

No word in the article on GC though.
