Well, from this vid it looks like the game can be played even without an internet connection, but you cannot 'earn SP' or such... such a small roster, just 10 for now. But it looks nice.

Holy shit, another sick release, and it's not even "release day" yet. NZ releases will start popping up in a little under 3 hours.
