Popple (1.99)

Hey, Slide to Play previewed this game back in march and i wanted to know if someone has played it, looks fun to me.

Any impressions?

Been playing it a bunch and it is extremely fun! We put it in our top 5 games of GDC. Pick it up!

Had a quick half hour on it, and it is indeed good fun. Induces a nice sense of panic as the curtain closes and you can see less and less of the screen. Frantic gameplay and a couple of different game modes (with three different difficulty levels) should present a bit of a challenge. My worry is that a lack of variety in the gameplay would make it best for quick and occasional plays.

I have to say it feels more like a 59p game as well, rather than a 1.19 game.

Worth a try though if this is your type of thing.
