App description: Fight Malaria for real by downloading The Moskies

The Moskies is a brand new concept of crowd-funding in the context of the fight against malaria.
Every download supports direct actions on the field and you get a fun and educative game in return.

The first funded actions will be the buying and distribution of malaria prevention kits in Haiti as part of the project "A Roof and Health for All" in Haiti. This project already achieved the construction of the 20 first eco-designed houses (see at the bottom for more information).

100 downloads are required to cover the needs for one kit.

Our initial objective is to reach 150 000 downloads.

The success of the operation directly depends on the number of participants

Breaking this objective will offer us the possibility to purchase more kits and to fund other projects that fight against malaria.

What do you get in exchange? .......A fun and educative game.

Try our quiz with 50 questions around malaria and mosquitos.
All information has been created in collaboration with the WHO organisation RollBack Malaria that supports The Moskies (http://www.rollbackmalaria.org/worldmalariaday/act.html)

And play the arcade mode to let off the steam by squashing those vicious cartoonish creatures.

Finally if you like our concept, let's know by giving it a good rating and liking the Facebook Page (https://www.facebook.com/TheMoskies).

It is always good to hear we doing things in the right direction.

Make war on mosquitoes by playing on your mobile phone
and fight malaria

with The Moskies

The company "DARGIL", creator of this concept in collaboration with the society "Santé en entreprise" is proposing the game "The Moskies"; a game for everybody which consists of "eliminating" the maximum number of mosquitoes.

The principal is simple : download (for only 1 dollar) "The Moskies" on your mobile and contribute to the buying and distribution of prevention kits in Haiti organized by the "Un toit et la Sante pour tous" (A roof and health for all) project.

With this gesture, offer your children an educational and fun game and, in the meantime, help support our actions to beat Malaria on the ground.

Available on iPhone/iPad

We count on you and do not hesitate to send us your comments, remarks and feedbacks.

Few more simple and free actions you can do to help support the project:
- Like The Moskies on Facebook
- Like the project "Un Toit et la Santé pour Tous" on Facebook
- Become an ambassador of the Moskies and spread the information among your friends and on social networks

Thanks for your support

Amazing work that you're doing, fully support this idea and am downloading now.

HOWEVER, you should be careful tossing around phrases like "original idea".

"Raise The Village" game on the app store:

They pretty much pioneered this idea and did it more than a year ago. They
are still going strong, so out of respect to the them I request you don't throw around false claims.

That said, great work - we need more developers like you!

Thanks for your feedbacks

Hello Kekhan

thanks a lot for your comments.
I didn't mean to steal the idea from other developers doing social impact games.
The problem is due to the translation from French to English in which the word "Original" has a double meaning.
I will change it in the future to "Great Idea" or something like that to avoid confusion.

I knew "Raise the Village". Excellent idea indeed and very well done.

Thanks again
