Default Aralon Sequel Confirmed!!

Well, in the midst of all of the buzz surrounding Ravensword: Shadowlands, I decided that it was finally time to ask Josh about Aralon 2 (or whatever it may be called) since we all know that RS2 will be out sooner rather than later (at least I HOPE so).

Anyway, here is my Twitter conversation confirming that it is, in fact, on track to start development here soon, and hopefully be released by the end of next year. Heck, if Josh keeps up this kind of rotation, there's a good possibility that we could start seeing a new RPG hit every Christmas! How cool would that be?!?

That certainly is good news, but the hype for Ravensword 2 is too big right now. We will be hyped about Aralon 2 next year

I question the reliability of this conversation. As much as I'd love aralon2, i highly doubt they'd reveal they are making it to one random person and have no problem with doing it. Maybe I'm wrong, just an odd way to reveal it.

CM has always been pretty open to questions in the past. I don't doubt it's authenticity.

It's easily confirmed. Just go to Josh's Twitter feed and read it for yourself. (3 Oct - Click on the tweet to see the context of the conversation) http://twitter.com/CM_Games

Oh, I totally agree with you! I just got curious and decided to ask Josh because I loved the original so much. You gotta admit, though, it's always nice having great games to be psyched about.

Definitely! And, after seeing what's possible in Shadowlands, I'm sure it's going to be even MORE incredible!

Well, like Candykiller said, feel free to look for yourself. I've always had good interactions with Josh starting all the way back with Ravensword 1. He's just a really great dev that actually cares about his customer base. Devs like Josh are one of main reasons I love iOS gaming so much. I've never gotten this level of one on one interaction from any other game platform I've used (i.e. Xbox, Playstation or even PC).

Thanks Candykiller! I'm just trying to spread the good news. No rumors here!
