Hi guys! I'm the developer of Micron. I'm glad to see Touch Arcade has discovered the game.
"Puzzler with a musical twist" is a great way to describe it! Micron was inspired by Lumines in the sense that it's a puzzle game with rhythm elements added on top. You can completely ignore the rhythm elements if you want and play it purely as a puzzle game, but I hope you'll enjoy the way the game and the music play off of each other.
I'm very interested in hearing your feedback. Let me know what you think!
And by the way, the game gets quite a bit tougher in the later levels.

Since the last week hasn't exactly been the greatest for iOS gaming, I didn't really hesitate picking this up one bit...and I'm glad I did. Simple, straight to the point gameplay with responsive controls, extremely clean retina graphics, an already catchy (5 levels in) music track that's evolving pretty darn fast and a gorgeous overall package make this a total no-brainer...especially at a dollar. Can't wait to wake up (again) in an hour and sink some time into this on while waiting for my girlfriend to get here.
I'm just gonna flat-out say it: Looking forward to impressions by Gabrien.
