So is there strategy involved at all?? This doesn't look like a card battle game at all. It seems to just play out the battles on its own. Am I missing something?

There seems to be a new glut of these "card games" wherein there is a deck of decent looking cards with a generic backstory that doesn't actually have any strategy because the game plays itself. I totally agree with Sigil in post #7. "This isn't gaming."

No, you're not missing anything. There is very little strategy involved. But, like was said in an earlier post, it is super addictive for no good reason.

I tried out some of Mobage's other card collecting games, but never had the patience to figure out was going on. Once they slapped some of my favorite characters on, I took a little more time and found that, while super shallow, the game is still fun. I feel no need to spend money, though I'd probably have to if I want to catch 'em all.

The art is from comic books and comic artists, so that alone is worth the price of Free to me. And there is a mild story that goes along with it. I'd read some of the help sections, though, because the tutorial is junk.

Probably the worst Marvel Game of all on the iTunes Store. Instead of creating something similar like Magic: The Gathering with the Marvel Universum we are getting some shitty Bahmuta Clone.

Whoever at Marvel did approve that shit -> Please die right now!

Mobage... Rage of Bahamut... Deity Wars... Blood Brothers

... I wonder what it take to get anything/anywhere in this game.

The Problem is that Blood Brothers isn`t bad at all but comparing it to Marvel War of Heroes or Rage of Bahamut but instead of even creating it similar to that Game we get an boring Rage of Bahamut Clone. Missed opportunity!

These card non-games are a worse blight on iOS gaming than even those games with energy restrictions (a "feature" these wastes of time often have too). I mean, they could just do Marvel Top Trumps rather than this generic "your x + y + z versus the enemy's a + b + c" with the stupefyingly lame levelling up process whereby you click repeatedly on the screen as the game pretends to be training up your cards.

I just saw a game like this, its interface looks exactly the same, its like they just put another skin over the whole thing. :S

The game i mean is called Legend of the Cryptids.
