This can't be legal... The other Dominion app had to remove itself from the App Store after the announcement of the official one went publicly announced. I still have the other non official Dominion app and that one was free (iirc) so I can't imagine paying for this one when it too will be removed soon.

Ya I have, It actually does play as a basic single player as far as I can tell. I'm a Dominion newb so I had turn elsewhere to learn how to play, so I'm just figuring it out. I wouldn't know if all the cards are there or not, only 1 lvl of AI, I haven't beaten it yet. Something to tide me over until the official version comes out I guess, at least I know how the game works now

Trust me, I was tempted and I was making no moral high stance on the matter when I stated that, hehe! I half considered buying this myself, but I have the other one, and well, I am less guarded when it is a company publishing and not an unknown independent Asian developer knowingly selling someone else's copyright and trademarked material... I worry if I'm even going to get a legit product given the climate of the App Store under these particular combination of factors...

So, you guys let me know if it is good... And for those who have played the other one (which was developed and released with conditional permission that it be removed when and if the company were to release their own) and who can compare... If it is positive maybe I will take the plunge as well...

After familiarizing myself with the game of Dominion and playing a few games in the App I'm posting more Impressions. The game is very bare bones, no tutorial, Insructions, card animations or sounds are found in the game. There is only single player with ability to play with 1, 2 or 3 computer opponents, and no variable difficulty. The computer only buys treasure cards, and then starts buying Estates, it doesn't buy any action cards at all. Those familiar with the game will no doubt get bored with AI quickly, and this game would quickly become useless without the ability to pass and play or multiplayer
The only practical use for this app is for people like me who are unfamiliar with Dominion and would like a very basic introduction to it. Anyone who is lucky eneough to have the older pulled version of this game would have no use for this. If you didn't already own Ascension or Nightfall, you would be better off investing in those games then this
