Default Hysteria Project Review

Sweat dripped down my forehead. I knew he was after me. I feared him, and he knew it. I was holding on so tightly to the bark on the tree, it was as if I thought if I let go, it would be the end of my life. If it wasn’t that, it would be the axe. The axe was covered in blood, and also gave me the chills. I pictured it being swung down. I bit my lip to conceal a scream. That’s when I heard it. The sound of leaves crunching beneath a shoe, behind me, he was right behind me. I screamed.

Hysteria Project is a choose-your-own-adventure horror game. I show this game to almost all of my friends, for some, it is a chill-binding game that they want miles away from them, and to others, it is the perfect balance of suspense and horror, that will give you the feeling someone is creeping up behind you with an axe. In the game you start up, a little tied up in a room with some masking tape and such, and then your job is to try to escape the room into a forest, to hopefully find your way out, to escape the axe-man. Can you do it, or will it be your blood on the end of his axe?

Hysteria Project may not contain the replay value you want, but its main factor is showing the game to friends, watching them try to make it to the end, getting frightened and shook. This game may not be for the people who get easily scared, but it is for the people that love suspense and are ready to take on a guy with an axe. This is the Hysteria Project. Are you scared yet?
