Ahh excited for this! I loved the mechanics. I do think Gamevil is focusing too much on IAP now adays. Going through the first one to get decent units you'd have to throw down a LOT of money on upgrading units. But shouldn't be surprising based on all the games they put out.

Hmm this new one is quite fun. A lot of new features but I'm really turned off by 'online only.' Apparently the android version is like this too. I'm guessing they're doing this to stop hacking or something. However cuz of this I don't think I'll be playing it anymore. With an iPod it's annoying I have to turn on the wifi every time to play.

Screw Gamevil, focusing to much on IAP & Online only games.... i mean Arel Wars 1 didn't need Wifi Required to play why does this one? anyway gonna pass on that alone as i'm using Ipod touch for games & can't be connected at all times...

P.S I'm certain Zenonia 5 will require Wifi.. Sigh!

I never understood why (some) people were so impressed with the original. I enjoyed, for example, Paladog!, more than Arel Wars, although the gap narrowed after Paladog! went free and added more IAP.

I hope that the next Game is Zenonia since I`m pretty much done with those....conquer a Castle Games from Gamevil.

No kidding regarding Gamevil relying too much on iap. It's funny; if you check out the top sellin sports games, Gamevil's 2009 baseball game is often on it. Actually, that might have been my first ios purchase...not the first I think, but close to it. Do you see many of their other games on any list, sales, grossing, etc? A lot of people love their quirky games but despise their iapps, and they just might make more money making games that don't have so obvious of a paywall.

This game may be good or not? I don't know because I rid it from my device soon after opening it. There are far FAR to many little buttons and menues to navigate around... Just seems really crowded and like junk.
