Things are still pretty calm here (Salem, Massachusetts) – I even went running this morning. Work and school were cancelled, so I'm home with my son. Salem is right on the water, but luckily we're about 3/4 mile from the harbor and atop a hill, so we don't expect any flooding.
Stay dry, folks! |

Funny thing is, the last couple of weeks have already been pretty long, since Halloween is our big tourist season (not complaining – the businesses need the money!). Hopefully things will be close to normal by October 31st. |

Hey everyone, stay safe. It's already getting kind of rough here in Maryland. Not looking forward to tonight. When my power goes out I'll be on my phone playing games. Too bad that only last a few hours 😞

Getting nasty here on Long Island, places are flooded and 45k people without power so far and sandy hasn't even reached land yet. Lucky that I have power so far, with Irene I was out of power for a week. Good luck all stay safe.
