Just got a chance to play this and just like sink or swim put it, this could easily be passed for a Chillingo release. It's definitely a fun game with a unique gameplay mechanic, the only downside for me is that it's almost 200mb and with the past few weeks of great releases I'm running out of space!

Thanks for the comments.
To celebrate Halloween, and of course the launch of Captain Cat Pocket, we are giving away 2 codes every day for a week in this forum (not promocodes) - so keep an eye out for them! We hope those of you who get the codes will enjoy the game...and for those of you who don't, what are you waiting for - it's out now for iPhone!

How do you control the hook is my question, and the only one I have...

Also, did some research I didnt know Digital Tentacle was Spanish, will probably see it on the Spanish Top Paid Apps soon

Hi thefrost.
The hook moves like a pendulum, just wait and when you are ready tap and hold the screen and the hook moves on the direcction aiming (think on it as an arrow).

We have a problem in the AppStore, as it is not allowing giftcodes to be exchanged outside of the country they were bought in. Unfotunately, this means we need to cancel the giveaway we told you about yesterday. But, to help make up for it, we have four more promocodes for you to enjoy, and we are inviting everyone to join in with a new contest instead! This contest can be found in the contest section of Touch Arcade, and the prizes are an XBox 360 and an iTunes giftcard worth 25!

Played for 12 levels straight... and I like it. It has a ton of polish for a first game... From animations to how is handled. Everything

You control you anchor/hook by tapping when its pointing the direction you want it to go, keep tapping until reaches a new destination, etc... and there are many obstacles, things to help, 3 star ratings, full GameCenter support... the usual in this kind of puzzlers but its very well done as far as I've seen

The only downside is watching Captain Cat with that sad face after the fish escapes every time. but hey, new day new meal
