Have you upgraded your iTunes to 8.2?

Using a program called WinSCP is actually A LOT easier, because it's just windows what-you-see-is-what-you-get programing. There are no commands to type in.

The only thing about it is you need to have wireless connection (on the PC and your device.

If you're on Mac I'm fairly sure there should be a Mac equivalent of that program.

Best program to use for some people who dont have the know how is iPhonebrowser (usb browser also), its a simple program to use, google it and grab it, if you dont know what to do once you have logged in to your ipod you prob should be doing it in the first place.

iPhonebrowser doesn't seem to work with 3.0 (according to the website.)

iPhone Tunnel Suit also seems to be having problems, and CopyTrans too. It looks like 3.0 has messed up a lot of programs.

Fortunately DiskAid still works, though it doesn't give you quite as much control.
