Thanks. Snagged the bottom code posted above. Looks like a fun diversion from my Square Enix phase.

Thanks for the feedback & downloads people. Makes me so happy to know some people all over the world are playing my game now. Only weeks ago, just me & my friends know about it

This is my first game to iOS, with all art & coding done by me... so I'm very interested in hearing more impressions & hearing about how far people are progressing in the game! Did anybody make it to the very end yet past the big boss? Love it? Hate it? I wanna know

Future updates for this game is I hope to add Game Center so people can share scores & show off achievements. Perhaps add more worlds to explore. Firstly, I'll be listening to what people think of my game to help decide what to do next.

Hey Luke
I tried sending you a PM but I'm having some issues where they're not registering as being sent at all so...
Finally had a chance today to put this game thoroughly through its paces!
I must say I'm enjoying the graphics coupled with the music that's makes a great combo!
It's always fun destroying things! Evil man made things!
The controls are the issue for me
I find the main movement pad is a little uncontrollable at times and could use a tweaking or setting option. I'm starting to coordinate the "eye" pivoting icon with the main pad and my robocat is moving a little better now
My main problem is I have fairly large thumbs and it can at times be tricky to hold my little touch 4g upright in portrait mode and play the game.
I'm also having a bit of struggle getting past the first levelperhaps it's my lack of skill
I just scored 54,000 plus points just now but before I could reach the red fox my cat blew up when I got to close to some fire!!!
Guess I'll keep on trying
Thanks for the game and much success!
Hope you get the exposure you deserve!
Cheers

FIRST UPDATE coming soon...

@punch, strivemind & capricornman: The controls will get a major improvement with the next update. I've heard you guys there

I've completely reworked it so you can strafe & whatnot, turning more naturally, faster & smoother looking around. Jump improved also. Combined the new jumping style and improved looking around ability into one button, its much easier on the thumbs. You guys will love the difference once I roll out this update

Also in next update:
  • Improved iPad compatibility
  • Improved graphics quality (notice detail on car there!)
  • Helpful popups at start of each level to brief you on the mission, for example: Space Cats say: "We want forests to grow here again! Destroy 5 factories. Then find the fox."

Anything else guys? please let me know as I'll be working on this update over the next bit...

Hey gang,
Robocat Rampage has just been updated. If you already have it installed, you should see update available. For new players, its on the App Store.

What's new:
  • now is a universal app!
  • added retina support
  • improved iPad & iPhone 5 compatibility
  • added multi-view support to allow playing in landscape mode
  • added "mission goal" help for hints on what to do in each level
  • all new controls for smoother faster gameplay
  • improved graphics

To sum it up, its just way better now

Let me know your thoughts & impressions! I'm working on adding Game Center next for global leaderboards and some fun achievements!

Thanks for this excellent update!
It makes a world of difference being able to play in landscape mode! The game is a lot more expansive and immersive. The improved controls are working much better as its easier to navigate the robocat around . The sensation of rampage and destruction is quite satisfying!!!

Massive improvement over the previous version. The controls are significantly better, although not perfect. Swiping to have Robocat look around would have felt more natural than the joystick. Moving works well now.

It's also Universal now, which is cool. Tried it on my iPad, and it looks good.
