jailbreak ipod touch 2g for firmware 3.0 is out.

yes restoring then dling the update for free does work, it worked for me when it came out

so you restored and then upgraded ? can anyone confirm this ?

on itunes, i restored my ipod, then i was able to dl the update for free
|

no, once again, if you restore your ipod (on itunes, go to your devices menu and click on your itouch, then click restore), for some reason apple lets you dl the 3.0 firmware for free (i make sure i dont have money in my account just to make sure). i did not pay $10.
EDIT: this also worked for 2.0 when it came out (i just found it randomly, i click restore not knowing what it did then i got the update without spending $10) Last edited by weedeatinflyincougar; 06-20-2009 at 06:14 AM.. |
