I have to admit, we'd never heard of Stop the Express until this message. We obviously didn't do our research well enough From the youtube video of it, it does look like it has some things in common. There are more gibs in our game though

The video impressions give me the sense of a very good game, and one that I would actually be willing to throw some money at (yep, I am one of those picky IAP currency haters. You got to come correct to get my money). This looks like a fun game that doesn't seem to hold back gameplay from the player, which makes me willing to throw money at a developer! Take note other devs! This and Punch Quest IMO are how to do Freemium right!

Thanks - we definitely want everyone to be able to enjoy everything about the game forever without spending a penny - we tried really hard to make sure that was the case and hopefully we've done that. We're already hard at work on the first update too.

I've got to admit this looks pretty sweet. I love old school 2d side shooters and this looks to be a faithful homage with all sorts of cool gadgets. The higher level stuff from the 1st video looks really sweet. Looking forward to the leveling progression. This game certainly has some borrowed ideas, but if something is already being done the best way it can be, then why try for anything else? Definite download!

Update: loving this game! Agree with a few posts down on q's about the 2 weapons and 2 levels so far. But controls are spot on (little crunched on 4s but haven't tried readjusting them either).

Nice game, sick of the runner types. I much prefer this kind of survival game.
So are there only two worlds right now? The zombie and robot? Also how do you unlock more guns? I currently only switch between the uzi and rifle.

The more you complete objectives, the more you gain stars. Each new weapon type, characters, and other stuff require a certain number of stars to unlock them.
