MANOS: The Hands of Fate - $0.99 for two days

Hey guys, MANOS: The Hands of Fate has a temporary price drop to raise awareness for the update which fixes a couple of issues we have had since iOS6. A bargain for retro gamers who like a challenge. Get it now!

A much appreciated update on this great game, which really is a no-brainer purchase for any retrogaming fans.

I just cannot bring myself to buy a game based on such a stupid movie.

I actually had considered this game last time it was on sale but got side tracked with other stuff. If any of the usual locals (like what ninjackid did) can give a thumbs up or down on how much they like it or whatever that would be cool. I'm probably going to take the plunge tonight since I love retro style platformers (NES is my favorite console of all time, followed by the Dreamcast). It seems silly probably to be picky over $1, but I have a limited income for gaming and I want to make sure it goes to buy games I want to play and goes to devs that do a good job.

EDIT:

Nevermind, I pulled the trigger on it. No inAPP and a lot of old school style gameplay... it seems like this game was made for me.

I'll buy that for a dollar. Thanks for the sale. I overlooked this because my iDevice was out when it was released but remember reading a lot of good feedback for Manos.

Perhaps the comedy of tongue in cheek lampooning b-grade sci-fi/horror movies escapes you?

Yeah, it's supposed to be ironic. I know how bad MANOS the movie is... Probably more than anybody (except maybe Ben Solovey, who is doing the HD restoration) since I had to study it so hard for this game... XD

I like you already!

Just to let you guys know, there are now continues in the game, since the lack of them was the main negative in most reviews.

I don't think it's possible to buy it twice
