Sphero Glide, 3D Flight Simulator

Sphero Glide is a Robotic-gyro controlled 3D Flight Simulator on your iPad/iPhone/Android device brought to you by the GRAIKA brothers!

Read more information on its Kickstarter page.

Glide through beautiful environments from around the world while tackling a variety of fast-paced objectives. Compete against your friends in a hand-ful of competitive game modes, including: bowling, timed-circuits and stunt modes.

We have been developing Sphero Glide for 3 months and it is really coming together nicely. How hands-on and realistic a flying game would be using a controller that could accurately simulate flight dynamics! Sphero Glide has opened up a portal to a land of infinite possibilities. Put down your joysticks, theres a new Ball in town!

By taking advantage of the powerful game engine, Unity3D, we have integrated real gliding physics. This allows the environment to affect the gliding, with elements such as wind and snow - proving to be the most sophisticated gliding game on the market!

Yea, it's on Kickstarter. As you can see on its video (which is posted both on YouTube and on its Kickstarter page), it looks like it's going to be a really cool flying game, different from traditional military-style flrying shooter games. The rewards are great if you help back it

Reminds me of Glider 2 by Glu. Never played that game, but platinum by PG UK must mean something. Hope this is as good as that one

Well the video they have is really promising. It looks like it will look great on the iPad, however someone deleted the thread I had made on the iPad category forum Though I would be willing to guess that just like any other kickstarter campaign, people won't back it until they know they are running out of time and have to take action, which will be like...in the last 4-7 days of the campaign *shrugs*
