and what is winscp?

SSH is Secure Shell, which is a network protocol that lets you exchange data between networked devices (your iDevice and your computer, in this case)
WinSCP is just an SSH client that allows you to use SSH. Mainly to access/edit files in your device.

Yes, in order to be able to SSH, you have to download OpenSSH from Cydia.
There are better guides online, just google it.

Well, that would make sense when the net was new, but now there is information out there about everything. People still feel the need to have someone else spoon feed them answers to simple questions. No offense to the original poster, but come on. It takes more effort to post the question here and wait for an answer then to go to google and type in "what is ssh"
