Room Escape - What do you guys think? (Feedback request)

Hey,

I'm the developer of Room Escape in the app store. I am looking for feedback to make our next escape better. I have already changed the controls to make navigating easier. I'm open to any and all suggestions.

It should have a walkthrough in case you get stuck.

I might add a walkthrough to my website. I'd prefer to keep the walkthough out of the app, just in case people get tempted, it'll be the extra step to discourage those that will feel bad for getting help after they do it.

I agree, don't add a walkthrough in the game or it ruins the fun. The number one reason why people look for walkthroughs is because they're unmotivated to try to play themselves.

Games, games, games..

Please put a walkthrough somewhere. I stink at these games, but I love them. I'm stuck.

Shoot me a PM with where you're stuck, I'll give you a hint to move on.

I think the controls need work. Sometimes the swiping and touching seems unresponsive.

ETA: Also the ability to save progress.

Ok I just finished the game. The controls ARE responsive once you figure them out. Swiping does not occur on the whole screen, it occurs in the small area above the inventory button. At first I was trying to swipe across the whole screen and nothing was happening. You need to fix this and allow swipes over the whole screen. Don't just explain how to do it currently; fix it because nobody reads directions. Other than that it was an enjoyable Room Escape. Not the best I've seen, but "ok." Refer to escapegames24.com for examples of different puzzles and ideas. Just don't copy them (obviously).

You should be able to swipe anywhere, in the middle of the screen is best. Quick short swipes are best. But, as I said, swipes are going away in the next room(s.) Thanks for your feedback, I'm planning on making future rooms much more complex.

Well in that case you'll need to seriously adjust the control system :-p. What prices are to considering for future games?
