real football 09

When are the promised updates coming? Seems a long time since they promised wi-fi multiplayer. Not to mention a lot of things that need tweaking, such as some of the ridiculous mistakes with squad members (utd have three andersons?), the fact that you can't change the freekick/corner/penalty taker, formations/line ups don't save, aggregate score isnt displayed in the cup games. these fixes should be very simple, perhaps gameloft have just given up on this game......

I have this game and I love it.
But I'd like to see some major updates and fixes as well.
Only time will tell how much Gameloft cares about this one.

This is probably one of the few games that I have REALLY REALLY wanted but held off until I saw some developer backing. Even despite the price drop, I'd be more than willing to fork out the full price if all of the bugs mentioned on all of the sites were at least "somewhat" addressed. The last update...

"In this version, teams have been updated and trailers are supported."

Great update.

The "real" updates (no pun intended) will be seen in.... Real Soccer '10 (2010). Gameloft aren't going to address any problems with crucial updates. They will just poor any of that effort into their next release and make another hefty cash grab. In essence, that's the beauty of having a year in your title.

Agree.
Still, it's one of the most played games on my iPod and, even though it has issues, it's really fun and easy to play (once you learn the controls).
The touch screen controls are so well implemented here that I have no doubt we'll be seeing titles like FIFA on the iPhone/Touch using a similar control method.
I just hope devs really push themselves to deliver quality games and not just high quantities of crapware.
