The promo codes are the sd version, which isn't optimized for iPad, but if you want to review deeply please let me known, and i'll give you promo for the HD version...

I used my code to download it on an iPad in 2x mode, it doesn't look too bad on that.

I like the quick load times.
I Can see the settlers inspiration in building.
Walls can be built early on which is good.

Younger players may be tapping away at a mission briefing screen for a few minutes before realising that the dice button is the mission start. It's not hard to work out though.

The main thing for me is that when building walls I think it would be nice to pre-plan a whole row of walls where you want so the characters chop wood automatically and build those while you concentrate on micromanaging other things like the strawberry farming, base building and exploration. Tapping individual walls all the time later on could feel tedious.

Having said that I can't say I'm certain it will stay that way because I only very briefly rushed through the first couple of levels, il give it more time tomorrow.

Over all it's a nice app, not my usual cup of tea for a strategy game because it is very cutesy but I think this will have a nice appeal to younger audiences.

I wouldn't recommend it to hardcore strategy gamers, but casual gamers would Probably have lots of fun with this app.

What I like so far is that I can't find any IAP. That's a very good thing.

anyways, i'll be very happy if you'll play more levels tomorrow, since they're getting harder from level 13-14, and that become an good game there...
BTW, i never tried to make it for hardcore strategy gamers, it designed for any age, with as much fun as i could inject inside...
