After watching TA members TOFTT for a while, you begin to understand (hopefully) that you're essentially hoping someone else will potentially waste their money so you don't have to.

I'm grateful that people do it, I've done it, and there's nothing like the feeling of dumping money into a crappy game. It feels bad, because the game stinks, but also good, because you have the opportunity to inform others, and that's one of the more rewarding parts of belonging to TA.

In the end, either be the one who does it when it's your turn, or wait for someone else to do it and be grateful for the help.

Yeah, exactly.

Hi, you seemed to be lost on the Internets.
This is TouchArcade, where 2$ for a game is too much, 5$ is an outrage, and 10$ or more is putting sugar in their car tanks whilst killing puppies.

I played the lite for ten minutes now but I guess that's not enough to give deeper impressions. Tho everything feels a bit small right now, I like what I see and to support RPG/roguelikes, I buy the full version.

Looking at the filesize and all the in-game stuff, it smells like a lot of content.

Not sure what's worse - people begging for someone to TOFTT or complainers derailing a thread to lament TOFTT requests. Now I'm going back to play more Dungeon Heroes; so far still worth a dollar.

Just plate the first quest, as the paladin (lite version) and I got to say, it got a lot of things goin for it, in Roguelike terms of course.

The game got active combat, real time attacks and spells
It got 360 degree movement
I can tell that the game will get challenging
Lots of different monster, mini bosses and bosses.

It's got a nice feel to it, even if the characters are very minimalistic, the envoriement is pretty cool tough, it's sort of a clash between 1995 and 2001 when comparing the envoirement and th characters.

If the devs take care of this game, it can become a great Roguelike!

1$ is just air when speaking of money, so just buy it and try it, I know I will.

Agreed! I mean how cheap do you have to be to bitch and whine so others TOFTT for a game that costs ONE (!!) dollar? Really? Is this what the App Store has come to? Ppl unwilling to spend a buck on a game that interests them? Truly sad!

I have downloaded the game but won't be able to play it until later. I wonder how it compares to other roguelikes on iOS?

Or it could be posters further derailing the thread by feeling the need to create non-existent drama... Who knows really?

My apologies for trying to help someone out. Sheesh.

I give up.

TOFFT = Take One For The Team = buys a game and gives others impressions about the app's quality. In case of a bad game, only one (or two, three, four) dollar(s) are wasted once instead of several dozens. It's a social feature.
