I'm going to bump this ONLY because this warrants more attention and has fallen off of the front page of the iPhone TA app. What has it been, 2, 3 weeks and people have already forgotten this game? :sigh:

Is this game impressive? The screencaptures don't really show much, but those 90/100 reviews seem to intice more. You recommend that highly? And what games does it kind of play like?

Edit: i go to youtube to find this video, then type in infinite ipad, then all that comes up is Infinity Blade crap. Got a link to a good video?

It seems confusing about how exactly this game works. Reviews look nice, but it's weird for a game to drop like this with not much publication.

Hey guys,

Thank you kindly for this thread Greyskull! Nice to see such positive feedback from everyone

If you would like to see more, here is our launch trailer for the game:

I feel it's a game better seen in motion than screenshots, hopefully you'll feel the same. Here's our TA thread if you want more user feedback:

http://forums.toucharcade.com/showth...=162683&page=5

Also, as EnterNexus (no relation), stated, we've fixed the launch issues with the game with our latest 1.15 update

This is one of those games that is difficult to explain despite having a low learning curve...much like Incobuto, Super Hexxagon, or Aaaaaaaahh!!! Mass=Force x Velocity (that last one is a mouthful).

The overarching theme is creation. Creation of a Solar System; Galaxy; Universe. Gameplay itself is easy to grasp; you control an arm-like projoction extending from your initial planet. You use this constantly rotating arm to pick up stardust (that's what I'm calling it!) to grow your Universe, all the while avoiding hazards and grabbing power-ups. This is done by extending the arm; it retracts and spins by itslelf.

This is of those games which you will either fall in love with or not. Like all games that rise above eventual forgetability, Infinite is a package, not just a game. Spectacular yet subtle trance-like electronic music, a GUI that has fits perfectly with the theme of the game, an art style that permeates everything from the splash screen to the options menu to the game itself, etc.

Personally, I love it. It's a great game to lie back with and play at night with a pair of quality headphones on. As always, your mileage may vary; I think most regulars here know that amongst my favorite genres are those that fit in none. I'm the guy who skips N.O.V.A. For Pugz Love Beats, after all

Strange no one posted about it when it went on sale, but I did some research, and it does seem to have a following. Even Gabrien posted that this game is awesome and worth buying which is rare.

The screenshots really do no justice to this game I think. The youtube videos make it seem like an ok game. But reading the main thread here makes me confident that this a good indie game, so I will support the cause and buy it.

Let you know what I think later. But like the fact it is universal and small. And it looks cool retro or no.

And Greyskull is my friend, and to thank him for always posting, I shall follow his strong recommendation to buy.
