Default Wrestling Revolution (Pro) by MDickie

Not sure how to post a link correctly but that's the link.
It's the new version of wrestling revolution with a full career mode and stuff.
I've been playing it for a couple of hours now and it's brilliant.

I'm trying to figure that out myself. I love the graphical style of the game - reminds me of some kind of animated paper or South Park animation style. Not sure about the controls at the moment, but i'm only playing the lite version. I posted that so people could take a shot at it on their own.

Well, the PPV version consisted of a ton of exhibition matches that were basically set in stone. You couldn't change any of the characters, set match stipulations, etc...right? While I literally just downloaded this to my device, I haven't tried it out yet (will do within 10 mins)...but it's quite clear from the description and the screenshots that there's a full career mode and you can now change details in exhibition matches. If the PPV version has indeed been completely replaced with this (forcing you to buy this version, instead of updating), I don't know how anyone could complain considering the amount of content we were given with WR PPV for just a dollar. If this contains the same content PLUS all this new stuff (I really should try it before posting this, yeah? ), then I'd say it's easily worth another $5. Off to try it out.

Yep, very worth the asking price. It's everything that was in WR PPV the way you remember it, along with a career mode (that I haven't even touched), an "Edit" mode (want to change Halk Slogan to Hulk Hogan? You can do that!) and a completely separate "Exhibition" mode which lets you customize every single aspect of the match. Truly a "Pro" version.

I'm still not sure if WR PPV has been pulled, but I don't see why it had to be. There could've been the free training version, a $1 PPV version and this complete "Pro" version for $5...though I'm not sure if Apple would allow 3 versions of the same game.

Pro-tip: Having problems with the controls? Switch over to "Virtual Buttons" in the options menu.

Is the frame rate as bad in the full version as it is in the free?

Have you tried turning off all the bells and whistles? Is that even possible in the free version?
