Saturate: A bullet-storm survival shooter (free with IAP)

Hi all,

We're a small developer from New Zealand. Our latest game has just been accepted on iOS. It's also available on Android, and will be on Facebook shortly. We took a couple of weeks out of a large game we're working on with a Publisher to bring this to life, just because we love the concept and had tons of fun playing the game that inspired it (Mono by Binary Zoo).

Saturate: a bullet-storm survival shooter.

Get it now for iOS

Our website

Unleash a hail of bullets in this space battle as you try to saturate the screen with as much color as possible.

Destroy enemy ships to splash the screen with color. Level-up through a huge number of weapons, and collect bombs, nukes and other power-ups to stay alive as long as you can. The more color, the higher your % saturation.

Earn credits as you play - the better your score, the more you earn. Spend credits to start with better weapons and to use Strike and Nuke power-ups
Lots of different controls schemes available (virtual D-Pad, touch, auto-fire forward/reverse) and an auto-aim feature planned.

If you like games like Mono or Geometry Wars, then you'll love this game.

Have fun!

Pretty fun game, gets very hectic very fast. The visual hook is cool; you start with a black screen, and end with a color splashed arena. Responsive controls. Very fair currency design too: play well, earn more.

@dev: The description you had in your post - "level-up through a huge number of weapons" - made me expect something like persistent upgrades and progression, but it's just random weapon pick-ups. Or am I missing something?

Hey Bronxsta - appreciate the feedback. You are correct: weapon always starts at level 0 (unless you use equipts) and are upgraded per-session with random pickups. The game is aimed at short bursts of play, and I've got updates planned to support peer-peer challenges etc to make that more obvious.

Open to ideas - how would you suggest changing the description?
