...am I the only one disappointed that this is not a remake of the original Xenon game from the 80s?

No, I was bummed too, though I'll give this a spin.

Help please?

Can someone please give me some detailed insight into how this game is played?
How do I regenerate the Nukes?
Which are the energy points? All of the white and blue objects just standing still?
Also please, how do I upgrade the cannon?

Any advice is much appreciated!

Thanks a ton!

Everything has energy it seems. Enemies destroyed release energy also the rocks with the glowing center that the story talks about have Xenon-X inside. I don't know what the different colored energies represent. Don't shoot energy, collect it. I think collecting the Xenon-X restores the nuke capability. Though they give you 3 shots up front... so I'm just using them sparingly. I got one regeneration on the nuke when my energy meter seemed to go above the limit. Maybe that's the trigger?

Keep in mind I'm on my first game... and I have only played just over 8min.

Not only you... loved Xenon II. Even on my CGA 12 MHz XT with a beeper, back in 1990. Played the game thru several times back then after the tiring days at the University.
