What is in your opinion, the best game on the app store, and why?

Or just your favorite game? I have roughly a 100 itune games, all very good but my favorite would have to be F.A.S.T.

It's on a 60% off sale for 72 hours starting yesterday so I picked it as an impulse buy.

I've never been a fan of flight games, but this game is just straight up amazing. The controls are pitch perfect and extremely intuitive, it's like the iphone was made for this game.

The presentation and polish is top notch.

I've seen full on $60 retail games with less content. The online modes are absolutely incredible and there's tons of players.

The online play is absolutely fantastic as are the single player challenges. Dog fights are so much fun. The graphics are incredible. Each of the different planes control very differently so you get a ton of variety by trying out different planes and adjusting settings such as sensitivity.

I honestly have had more fun playing this game than I've had playing most retail $60 videogames.

What about you?

Tough choice... one of my top picks would be Superball 3. I bought Superball 1 (then called Superpong) when the app store first launched, and then it upgraded to Superball 2, then 3 totally free of charge. These are not just updates, it's like a new game- and there are so many levels I'm still playing it to this day, after a full year.

Everything I truly need in a game.

- Fun Gameplay
- Excellent Graphics
- Perfect Sound
- Clean, Responsive, Attractive Interface
- Original Premise
- Totally Addictive
- Variety

Things like story, for a game, in my opinion, come second to these things.

My runner ups are: I Dig It, Defender Chronicls, Real Racing, Monster Pinball, Eliss and Edge. They are all just a little behind Saucelifter for me, around the same area though.

Faves: Saucelifter, Westbang, Eliss, Edge, Tilt to Live, Mindwall, Radial 50, Super Quick Hook, Sword of Fargoal, Carcassone, Trainyard.
Playing: Super Mega Worm, Aqueduct, Monster Dash, FASTAR!, Shining Force, Frogatto, The Incident, Dark Nebula Ep. 2.

I just tried out Super Ball 3 Lite. WOW! It really is a fantastic game. The lite version had a ton of great content.

I liked it so much that I went ahead and bought the full version for $2.

CS.one, it's stolen more of my life than even zenonia!! That's saying a lot for a .99cent app. After the update, I'm confident it will be on more people's "top" list.

My friend said to me, "I think the weather's trippy." I said, "No, man, it's not the weather that's trippy, perhaps it is the way that we perceive it that is indeed trippy." Then I thought, "Man, I should've just said, 'Yeah."CS.one R3DC3ll Faction-Join us or die...proud member of TheBeastlyNinja Epic-uber elite comedy crew

Real Racing would definitely be the best game in the app store if they polished up a few bugs and issues. Other than that, I would have to say Flight Control for a $1 game.

Some of my other favorites: F.A.S.T., Defender Chronicles, and Zenonia

Edge. It's a platformer, and a puzzle, has good graphics, multiple control options that all work great (well, maybe not the accelerometer), the animations and level designs are great, the gameplay can be trippy it times, it's fun to just watch your cube zip around, loads of levels and a great ranking system. I have nothing to complain about.

For me (at the moment), it's a toss-up between Real Racing and Eliss.

They are two very different games, but both superb in their own right.

As far as racing games go (and there's quite a few of them in the Appstore now), Real Racing destroys every other racing app currently available. The closest to it would be NFSU, but even that comes in a VERY distant second.

Now all i can say about Eliss, is GENIUS. So simple, but so f**king awesome!!! I actually didn't even discover it until somewhat recently, and i haven't been able to put it down since. Perfect retro-style graphics, great sounds/music, and plenty of seriously challenging levels. Plus, i think it's only like $3.00. I'm surprised it hasn't gotten more attention actually. Although it's been out for quite some time, this app deserves to be in (at least) the top 10 paid apps in the Appstore IMO.

BTW, i'm buying F.A.S.T. today cuz i just can't resist it anymore. People are raving about it everywhere i look. So once i get some solid hours of gameplay in, i might end up changing my vote...
