Hi ColeDaddy,

You are right, we are opting for autosave. The reason behind this is that we do not want to provide an option to save the game and continue with it. As when a specific combat round does not bring the needed result one could load the last succesfull state/phase of the game. The only thing we want to enable/support is that if one runs out of battery or does not have the time to finish a battle he/she can continue this battle at a later time.

That is were we come from ourselves, Neo Nectaris on the PC Engine, the Panzer General series from SSI on the PC. And not to forget the various board games from Avalon Hill. If Civil War The Battle Game brings us a positive return of investment you will see more

Hi,

I just submitted version 1.1 to Apple. It contains:

* Retina icon and loading screen
* A short app name so it stays readable on springboard ("Civil War TBG")
* Bug fix, units out of sight range are not visible in the overview map (if sight rnage is enabled)
* Terrain overlay for figure base markers.

The pause option will come in version 1.2

I cannot seem to find this game in the App Store at all, despite searching for it by name and even the developer's name.

Is this a USA App Store only release? Any plans for international release?

it is not just available in the US. Canada, Australia, Europe, China, Japan, India and most countries in the Gulf region have it on the AppStore. In which county are you searching for it?

Hi,

Version 1.1 is available in the AppStore.

It includes the highly requested Retina icon and loading screen.
Further a bug causing unit of out sight to be visible in the overview map has been fixed. and a missing in game help text was added.
