During the intro, it looks like the backgrounds are totally stolen from the old Roadrunner cartoons!

I know what you mean regarding cartoon familiarity. I can assure you there was no 'stealing' going on but the animator who created it loves the older hand drawn approach to animation rather than the newer flash / vector animation style. Maybe thats why it has an older RR feel to it?
