You can directly edit the icons for any theme by changing the .png files in the .theme file. This will require SSH though. I'm not sure TouchArcade is the best place to gain knowledge on file modifications lol.

No need to SSH. Just use DiskAid (a free download), which will let you access the iPhone's directories even if it's not jailbroken.
Go to root/Library/Themes and find the folder for your theme. Within that folder you'll find a folder called Icons. In there are all the replacement icons used by that theme. Just delete or rename the ones you don't like. |

He says you don't need to be jailbroken and there is no cydia without jailbreak, so I would assume that you don't get it there.

DiskAid is a Windows program that lets you access your iPhone's directory structure even if it's not jailbroken. It uses USB.

But when I tried to view the root partition with DiskAid it said I needed to be jailbroken.

Ah, sorry. My mistake. You don't need to jailbreak to access the MEDIA partition. It's been so long since I had an unjailbroken phone I forgot that.
Anyway, if you're using themes then you're already jailbroken. |
