Hello everyone, we're developers of a freshly released iOS game called Crazy Vampires, an iOS Burtonesque comedy puzzler staring ignorant bobble-headed vampires, who desperately need your help. Supported by Transylvanian music, those silly non-glittering creatures will stumble into the closest trap unless you help them! Key Features: - Game center integration - iCloud saves with seamless game progress transition between iOS devices - 65 levels - 3 ways how to solve a level ranging from normal to hardcore mode - over 12 hours of game-play on basic level - over 20 hours to reach golden awards - 32 achievements - works for iPhone 4+, iPad 2+. I used NJP6NNLFY7KP. Thank you!
Edit: Great graphics and music! I have played into to the second set of crypt levels with the web object for slowdowns and I am not liking that element so much. Sometimes it seems like you need to drop the web immediately when the level starts and the whole timing issue seems to be total guess work solved via trial and error. Not a great feature for a puzzle game. Otherwise I am enjoying the game play to this point. Last edited by slewis7; 12-07-2012 at 10:32 PM.. |

slewis7, thank you very much for your feedback!
I think I understand what you mean. I'd like to add, that the golden medal award (which requires you to do such things) should not be your primary goal. It really is set up to test your skills and thinking to the maximum limits and sometimes getting golden award will make you say nasty words to your poor iPad.If you play the aforementioned level in the standard (wooden) way, you can for example put the net on the tile where the gun bullet flies through and as soon as the bullet passes, lift it again. This shouldn't be by any means difficult. Also, people are often surprised when they see me playing the game. I am playing the game quite slowly and using just a few clicks while main instict is doing a ninja-clicking. But this slow and calm approach requires to use the planning phase before you start the game. I usually use the spread gesture to have an overview of the level, pan it around and think about what needs to be done. Hope this helps and enjoy the game. It's awesome to see people finally playing the game. |

Please note, that the game doesn't work yet on iPod Touch 4th gen as stated in the first post. However we're finding ways how to get it there. It turned out that the game just go a little bit over the device memory limit which causes it to crash. My current optimized build actually runs on iPhone 3GS! (albeit a bit slowish)

If I buy this do I get a icon with a tacky "FULL" spurged across it? Or is that just in iTunes?!

Perfect - Free version it is then - hate my icons of paid apps being cheapened... one of my little 'quirks' ;-)

So I played for a bit and I have to say that I like it! This is a interesting little tile rotating game where you essentially have to direct the Vampires (or Lemmings) from point A to point B without letting them burn in the sunlight! You have to rotate parts of the path in the rooms to get this to work out and the combination of manipulating the direct path and having to rotate the path while a Vampire is on it on the fly can make it feel hectic and helps to provide the challenge to the game. I only ran through the first chapter of stages, but I can see where it can get more interesting when you introduce different types of tiles and trying to get three stars in each level!
If I were to rate it I'd give it a 3.5 stars bumped up to 4 stars for this. It is a solid title, and the gameplay can lend to some tension, but there seems to be something missing to get it to that next level. The art design is there, the music is serviceable, the controls are decent (though I wish there was a way to do left rotation/right rotation on a tile instead of tapping a tile numerous times to get it in the direction you need it). Perhaps splitting each tile to have two hit locations, one on the left side on on the right so that when you tap whichever side of the tile it rotates in that direction. Otherwise you can over tap and have to go through a full rotation again, which costs you time, precious time, hehe! |
