The water had a life of its own. It was dark, eerie cold and perilous. It was wild, thrashing about, crashing into the side of my boat, thrusting me one way and then slamming the other side pushing me another. The icy cold water was splashing against my face, making it harder to breathe. I knew I couldn’t take much more of this. I went out for a fishing trip and ended up going headfirst into a storm. The rain came down faster. The expensive red fishing pole slid off the boat. I heard thunder roar from the clouds, menacing, yelling down at me. The shore was miles off and I could barely get a glimpse of it. What had I done to deserve this? I released all the fish after I caught them. One more hit from the water sent the boat to flip over and send me going down the cold water. It was so cold.

Flick Fishing is a great fishing experience for the iDevice. The graphics are amazing and the water effect is perfectly done. The sound fits in very well with the fishing spots. I swung my iPhone back and then forth to cast the line, like a fishing rod. Different places to fish and many ranges of fish to see. Can you become an expert fisherman?

This fishing game is pretty fun at first, catching fish, sharing it with friends, bragging as the game calls it. Going to fishing spots and fishing for a bigger catch, facing your friend in multiplayer. But after about a day, I found myself using it more as a simulator then a game. I had more fun swinging the iPhone back and then forward and seeing the fishing rod do the same. The re playability should vary on how much you are into fishing. I give this game a 3 out of 5.
