@Dev: Some small points:

1. I miss a way to give my Player a name!

2. Where is the history graph???

3. Optinal a way to save games in the iCloud ...

4. A iPhone Version ... I had the game also on my old Palm Handheld and it was great on the small screen ... so I think, the iPhone should be a great device for Spaceward Ho ...

5. A Bug: Autoplay stops at 2200 ... no way to let him autoplay after the year 2200

It seems there are still some flaws ... Nevertheless ... great game!

After missing the "history graph" where I can see how my empire develops I am now missing also the window where I can compare myself with the other players ...

I had also some shut downs and crashes ...

Sorry, but it seems that this is only a 75% Version ... I hope the rest will come ...

I played this game, as I noted, on my Mac many moons ago, but what is this "4X" thing? What does that mean? I'm clueless.

I also hope all the missing features get added in.

4x = "Explore, Expand, Exploit, Exterminate" referring to strategy games where the main gameplay elements are divided into these four main phases.

The original 4X game is Master of Orion. Some current iOS 4X games are Starbase Orion and Distant Star. There are a few others, but those come to mind as a couple of the best available.

Though the term 4X was coined for Master of Orion, MoO is not the first 4X. That distinction generally goes to Reach for the Stars, which I fondly remember playing on my Commodore 64, and later the Amiga.

i loved Spaceward Ho! on the Amiga and will be VERY happy to meet it again on my ipad.
btw i can 100% recommend Starbase Orion and Ascendancy too.

Please...

Alternatively, if you could tell me how to swap all the graphics with My Little Pony, my daughter might sit and play this one with me...
