Right well it's not looking cheap (as usual) there's 13 track pack bundles with four songs on each. There 1.99 per bundle.
Then there also characters to buy at 1.49 each.
So it's looking like it will cost the same as buying the DS version new in the shop. Apart from here you have no physical game

It looks cool though I just wish Square Enix would lower their game prices a little.

Yeah that's not really surprising, especially since this is a recent game. And it's Square Enix... Still the game is really good and Uematsu is a god

What would you do if people showered you with money each time you slapped your brand on a product, irrespective of quality?

I played demo on 3DS and thought it was fun but decided to wait for price drop and kind of forgot about it. Now i would rather play this on my phone instead but knowing SE pricing on iOS its probably not worth it.

Played the demo on 3DS, pretty good game. I think it'll work better with the free plus iap model. I'm just hoping that the fact it's Universal bodes well for FF IV next week

This is one of the few title for the 3ds that i'm not reselling after completion,
i have to say that the freemium formula here will be soooo expensive counting
the amount of songs on the original version...but damn! the graphic on iOS
takes you to think that the 3ds hardware is already obsolete.

Damned Square, you are going to take my money again!!

What I've gathered from friends who have played the game on 3DS is that you need to really love the franchise to truly enjoy the game. As a rhythm game it's not a lot better than the average product. I'm going to wait for impressions on how well the port is done and if S-E is going to give us some pack deals on the content. Right now I'm thinking I've been spoiled by Groove Coaster and might not really enjoy the core rhythm game mechanics.

This is a quality game, though, like the vast majority of Square's releases.
