I hope that everyone out there would stop advertising this Game as the new Homeworld Type of Game. This Game has, expect the Art, nothing in common with Homeworld. While Relic is still obviously to dumb to see the potential of Homeworld after all those Years and instead is preferring to developer their 1.000.000 World War/Warhammer RTS Title it`s true that Sidius Nova is an nice little Game but it`s so far away from the all mighty Homeworld that I almost puke when I saw on some Website someone pulling the Homeworld Card.

Besides that:

Yes there are some great Tracks on the Soundtrack and I can only advise everyone to get it while it`s still only one Buck.

Yes it's non-retina. Which I did think was odd. If they do make this a paid app they need to add retina graphics imo.

Thanks for reminding me that I have Homeworld 1, 2, and all the expansions buried somewhere in my closet. Time to see how they run on Windows 7. Never tried Homeworld 3; it came out years after the first 2 and, IIRC, dunmbed down the gameplay according to reviews at the time.

I'm no fan of RTS's (I prefer mine turn based), but the combination of being able to issue orders when paused, a fantastic story, and being the first RTS (I THINK) to use bothe the x- and y- axis made those games forever memorable to me.

Yeah I was wondering that too. I appear to have finished the alien campaign, I have researched all the tech and have reached a galaxy with an infinite number of worlds, but there's no option to change race to play the human campaign.

Creators here!

Hey guys, I'm the artist on the team and I'd be happy to talk to anyone about the game if they're interested. First of all, this is true:

So if you're interested in trying out the multiplayer, just shoot us an email at sidiusnova@gmail.com !

We want to do retina at some point but right now our main focus is multiplayer. I have all of the assets at higher resolutions, so it would definitely be cool if we could use them.

This game was originally designed for iOS. I think that there was some confusion regarding it being a PC port but this game was designed from the ground up with touch controls in mind. The idea probably came from Kotaku's article mentioning its big cousins on PC but it was just talking about similar games.

Unfortunately there isn't really any option to switch sides without deleting your save right now. It's something that we are currently working on adding to the game. We didn't actually expect people to finish it so quickly. I'm really happy that you liked it enough to play the whole way through already!
