While waiting for the Appstore info, here is some information:
For the Win is an abstract board/puzzle game. You have a team of monkeys, zombies, ninjas, pirates, and aliens which you are trying connect before your opponents. We have taken the board game and made it accessible on iOS. Whether you know it was a originally a board game or not, we hope it is a great iOS game.
A team of talented developers was lead on this project by, myself, Bradley Cummings, editor of iOS Board Games on BoardGameGeek (www.iosboardgames.com). I had the chance to go from reviewing games to trying my hand at designing and producing one. It was a moment of putting my money where my mouth is. Tysen Streib a talented AI designer made challenging AI opponents of many difficulties and play styles. There will be hours of puzzling with these computer opponents. Martin Grider (Oppo Citrus, Chesstris) tied it all together with his excellent development.
I have also included an interview we did with Wired last week.

Both Universal and Async Online Multiplayer will be in the first major update.
For right now, the AI play is actually really great. We envisioned this initial release as the kind of game you can pull out quickly on the bus or on the toilet...haha
Full disclosure: I designed the original For The Win board game
However, that was several years ago and beta testing this new digital version has absolutely re-kindled my love for the game. Playing against a human opponent has always been fun, but the different AI settings are simply brilliant. I'm embarrassed to admit it, but I've been stomped by the AI on multiple occasions, even on the easier levels. I've been practicing quite a bit since the testing started, but even now the games are a challenge.
The design team has done an outstanding job making the game as intuitive as possible. Anyone familiar with the original game can jump right in and the tutorial is straightforward for those who are new to the game.
