You didn't play Anomaly Warzone Earth? Why don't you use this code to get the game?

What are the differences between this game and the first game?

The game is just launching now thru different time zones. New Zealand iTunes link may not be working correctly until it's available in other countries. Sooooo in 10 hours from now the game should be available in all App-stores.

This is a bit of a shame. I read somewhere that 11bit intended to focus on the touchscreen device this time around, giving us a game adapted to the platform (something that can mean dumbed-down and casual-ized, but in this case made me think of improvements like even better controls, nicer UI, and mobile-friendly additions to the gameplay formula). That made me hope for a true evolution, rather than an incremental update.

But yeah, more of AWE really is good enough

Highly recommended.

Does it just feel like an expansion and not an entirely new game?

That is exactly what it is - more of the same, but refined and improved on in every aspect, be it gameplay, graphics, pacing and action. The boost ability is the one that probably adds the most to the game.

But like what E-P says, this is a lazy job from the guys at 11 Bit. I really hoped for something radical here...alas, the game is still very, VERY good. Just short of a perfect 5/5 because it is too same to its previous version.
