I really liked what you guys did with this game. It was great to see devs give the traditional sokoban puzzle the respect it deserves. And, you guys did it with such style: presenting variations to the game, adding a three-star system of challenge, presenting each puzzle in its own highly-polished skin. You've shown how much potential this underrated, underdeveloped game has and taken it to the next level. Thank you.
On another note, I would really liked to have seen triple the amount of puzzles you presented (28x3); sokoban-type games rarely offer less than 90 puzzles. I finished all the puzzles in under two hours and captured mostly all three stars in each. Ideally, each set of 28 would have its own level/world ramping up in difficulty. You could recycle the puzzle variation and skin but create a larger and more intricate/difficult puzzle. I realize this offering is the perfect introduction to those who are not familiar with potential complexity of sokoban, but I truly believe most puzzle gamers merely aren't interested due to a lack of quality presentation such as yours and/or a lack of difficulty available in the app store. Perhaps you could offer more puzzles in an early future update.
Lastly, due to the finger control (vs. d-pad) and the fact that gamers get rated for time, it would be nice to see an "undo" button for one move.
Again, bravo on your effort!
Highly recommended.

Thanks very much for your thoughts and feedback, we love to hear from our players.

We're genuinely impressed you made it through the later levels so quickly, your puzzle solving skills must be better than ours, in fact during production a team member couldn't figure out the last level (a puzzle he actually designed) and it took him a day to solve it!

More levels are being designed adding more lasers, introducing switches / buttons and evolving on mechanics already introduced in BoxPlots™

We'd really appreciate it if you could take a minute to share your thoughts with an App Store review... and adding an undo option has been an idea for some time, but trickier to implement than you'd imagine.

Interesting take on push-crate mechanics and sokoban. Polished graphics according to the screenshots.

Can you tell us if there is any plan for an iPad or Universal version?

Also, how many puzzles are there? How many world?

The app description mentions IAP, but there is no IAP in the iTunes description. Huh?

Is there a back button to undo steps? If so, unlimited undos?

You peaked my curiosity, but still sitting on the fence pending your answers to clarify the mechanic.

Hi and thanks for the questions,

Although the central gameplay in BoxPlots is sokoban the trailer gives you a taste of the other gameplay mechanics spread throughout the game which include, crane, sliding, pick-up & rotating and then there's a sokoban level with a laser to avoid and another where all the boxes are magnetic and move in unison for example and things start to get layered together.

At this time we cannot clarify if there will be an iPad release but we are working on new levels to go in to the first level update pack, which will build on the current mechanics and also bring new ones to the table.

Currently BoxPlots consists of 28 uniquely designed and themed levels and there's some great ones to unlock that aren't in any of our press materials!

There is an IAP to 'unlock all levels'

Currently there is no undo gesture, the levels are designed to build up your knowledge as the challenge increases, but if you do get stuck or 'boxed-in' you can be back at the start in a second with a touch and a swipe.

Hope that helps answer your questions, and we're glad we're peaking your curiosity.
