As an ongoing work in progress, Wrestling Revolution is the world's first "episodic" wrestling game - featuring regular storylines and match-ups that you would expect from a TV show. Except a game pans out differently each time you play!

This spectacular "Pay-Per-View" show features more than 30 matches that were too cool for school. Witness some of your favourite stars square up in dream matches and share their thoughts on the revolution - culminating in a massive 10-man tag showdown and a 10-man Battle Royal.

Each show also features a special "Mystery Guest" segment, where players get a chance to create their own wrestler - who could even win the chance to become a permanent part of the game.

Well i saw this on appshopper and wasn't sure by the screen shots if it was any good so I thought what the hell it's 69p I'll give it a go.
And pretty much all I can say is sweet! If your a wrestling fan (like me) this is well worth picking up.
The controls are all done with swipes, taps and pinches. They work really well and the ragdoll style characters are pretty cool.
I've been playing it for about an hour and a half so far and IMO its much better than wrestlefest (which I really enjoyed anyway)
I'll post back in the morning after I've had some more time to play.

Christ, those screenshots look awesome...so many familiar faces. Big Show as Hugh Jazz? XD Bought. Anyone expecting a certain "Azul" someone in that 4th pic to botch that powerbomb? >_>

The game's pretty darn good and incredibly deep but it feels overwhelming at times, and there have been instances where I just don't know what the hell I'm doing anymore. Gonna have to put some time into it, but for a buck, this is excellent. Wish it had retina though.

Giving this one a go myself and it's pretty interesting so far. Seems like I just spent about 45 minutes going through the training and the first match. Really like the controls, though I might have missed something. I didn't see exactly what to do to break out of a pin. Could be the "part", but I'm not sure. Also it seems like there should be something that has you trying to hold the pin. If anyone catches these, please let me know here.

Seems like it's going to be a pretty fun game. I haven't gotten into real matches yet, but the promise of story lines is enough to have me fork over a buck. The rest of it is just gravy.

Fingers are really crossed on this one hoping it continues to be good...

I'm curious about one thing...there's no actually progressing/completing in the game, right? All the matches in "Matches" are essentially just exhibition matches, right?

Yeah that's what I've found. I'm on to match 12 in the training section but I had a peek into the normal match section and it seems like there all pre set fights.
The description does make it sound like there will be more content coming tho?

I'm loving it so far though. As a wrestling game made for the touch screen it's really cool.
Loving spotting all the WWE stars past and present. =)

Tried the lite version, couldn't get past the frame rate. 15-20 FPS on my iPad 2 tops, is unacceptable.

OK, this thing is ridiculous. It may not be the best wrestling game ever, but Jericho advertising Fozzy's new album and Ryback being in the back is just blowing my mind. How recent is this thing?

EDIT: Ryback being in the back? >_> "Ryack being in", I mean.

It just came out last night.

I Spotted hunico's partner/bodyguard (camacho) in the crowd. =)

The amount of WWE references is crazy.

The controls could have done with a slightly better tutorial, because I'm stil unsure how to escape a pin, currently I'm just tapping away to escape and it seems to work. And also I don't know how to counter. But hey take the ruff with the smooth.
Seriously for 69p if your a WWE fan this is a must buy IMO.
