3D RPG Kitaru Surpasses Kickstarter Goal and Targets Stretch Goals [UPDATE!]

Aoineko Studios would like to formally announce that we have surpassed our Kickstarter funding goal of $25,000, and that we are currently 111% funded with three days to go in our campaign. We would also like to announce the release of a special thank you video from two key members of the Kitaru voice cast. They are Yuri Lowenthal, voice of TV's Ben10, the prince in The Prince of Persia, and Soulcalibur V, and Tara Platt, highly-regarded for her work on Final Fantasy XIII, Naruto, Bleach, and Marvel vs. Capcom 3.

Here is the thank you video…

You can support the project on Kickstarter here: http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/bensteele/kitaru

Glad you guys made it! Videogame kickstarters have been in the news lately with all the big projects, but I've never forgetten all the smaller iOS that have been around for the last couple years. Good luck with your stretch goals.

Wow I am extremely impressed by the gameplay video. there seems to be quite a variety of game mechanics and the combat seems very fluid. The graphics style reminds me a lot of Borderlands 2, which is fantastic imo.

It's cool, refreshing, and irresistibly tantalizing...ChocoVanilla Ice-Cream!
