Default Square/Enix announcement on 12/12/12: secret title "Star"! Rumour: for iOS
Only a few more hours, and Square / Enix will announce a new secret, maybe mobile / iOS title, named "Star" for now. S/E seemed to have mentioned the iOS in a side note.
Several websites are talking about that.

Rumour say that it might be related to the Star Ocean series.

nice. hope its star ocean, cause i got no interest in paying 20 for ff4 seeing that i have beaten that one 3 times already.

The title will probably be Star Galaxy, since Square Enix filed a trademark for that a few months back. I'm expecting a mediocre social game spinoff of Star Ocean, if it's related at all.

Fingers crossed this will not end up being on of those social media based games SE had seemed fond of backing lately.
